A Godly Father

A godly father is a wonderful man,
Kind, reliable, gentle and strong.
One who leads you along the right paths,
And discourages you from the wrong.

He gives to you the most valuable gift,
 the sharing with you of his time;
He is always there when you have a care,
Loves you clean, or covered with grime.

As you grow older you notice his ways,
How they change as you both move along,
The advice that he give and the life that he lives,
As he tackles  big trials with a song.

He is a sage at advice, always there with the price
Of events and special occasions;
He can help with your math, show the right path
using  correct mathematic equations.

When you become grown, move away from his home,
He is still there for your every  need;
When your feelings get hurt or you have problems at work
He gives comfort in both word and deed.

Yes, a good father’s love is a gift from above
Direct from the Master’s own hand
And the life of every child, to become meek and mild,
Should be guided by a God given man.
