A Little Prayer

Help me, Lord, when problems arise
That seem too great to bear,
To know that even when it seems
That all is lost, you care.

Let me be humble, at this time,
And accept what your will may be;
By doing so, I can carry on
And know you are helping me.

I know it isn't in your plan
For me to know the facts,
Of what you plan my life to be
That I must fulfill your acts.

Let me gracefully accept
Whatever you plan for me,
And let me know with a grateful heart,
That this was meant to be.
