You pledge allegiance to the flag,
But only when it fills your need;
For if you cared you'd support it,
Instead you act solely on greed.

She's on the edge of apocalypse,
This Lady is preparing to die;
Blindsided by foreign investors,
The thought of it all should make you cry.

You are an enemy of these States,
And you are the one who'll cause its fall;
You show it in what you drive and buy,
Which truly proves you don't care at all.

"Buy local, it makes a difference,"
You'll gladly do that for your home town;
Yet, "Buy American!"  you don't care,
Now America's fixin' to drown.

I may just have written my last book,
For now I feel I need take a stand;
To take America back again,
Tell me; where do you fit in that plan?

I won't sit back and just watch her die,
No! Not without one hell of a fight;
This is still one nation, under God,
And I'll fight for her with all of my might.

This should be sent to everyone possible from sea to shining sea. Some would say we
are now living in a world economy but that is not true . Not when the countries that are flooding our shores with their imports practice PROTECTIONISM to meet their own end. And that end is the demise of the United States of America.
