A Prayer in Troubled Times

Lord, bless your children
and keep us in your care;
reach out your loving arms
to people everywhere.

Like a ship in troubled water
whose route is dark and bleak,
without your Light to guide us,
we can t find the port we seek.

Our world is in crisis, Lord,
with many led astray.
Satan s evil legion
is working night and day.

We pray for strength and courage
to rise and take a stand.
We beg you for forgiveness
as we reach out for your hand.

Help us, Lord, to find your peace
amid the toil and strife
and guide us down the narrow path
to everlasting life.
