Rainbow Love

Green is the color of life,
So the pundits say...
And of trees and fields of wheat,
Along the traveler's way.

Yellow stands for sunshine,
Peeking through clouds of gray,
Warming the thoughts we think,
On any given day.

Purple reminds of shy violets,
Blooming in shady glens...
And the royality of Jesus,
Who is a believer's best friend.

Red speaks of our Savior's blood,
When He died for all mankind...
A reminder of everlasting life.
More true than any other we can find.

A rainbow with all these colors,
Stretching across a misty sky,
Creates a pleasant picture,
For every discerning eye.

Stormy nights, warm sunny days,
Universal colors all entwined,
Reminds of God's awesome promises,
Created by His wise design.

When you see a rainbow,
It will take your breath away...
Bow in joyful thanksgiving,
Our Savior's love is on display.
