Road Trip

pressing forward every day
thanking GOD when we pray
trying to grasp and understand
why GOD had to take this man
there are some things we will never know
but if we trust HE will help us grow
we will get through each new day
HE always listens when we pray
so put the fear and doubt aside
and let GOD take you for a ride
if you will trust and just believe
HIS love and mercy you will receive
HE sends us HIS counselor the spirit of truth
 
you may have known HIM in your youth
HE comforts us in each new day
and shines HIS love to light the way
just ask the LORD to enter in
and wash away all your sin
HE will cleanse you from head to toe
and show you things you need to know
 
HE'LL help you get through each new day
just trust in HIM to light the way
HE loves you more than anyone
that is why HE sent HIS son
so look to HIM and just believe
and HIS peace you will receive
so put the fear and doubt aside
and let GOD take you for a ride
