Serenity
When the world has been very dark
And you don't know which way turn,
And you can't seem to find the answers
No matter how much you yearn,
In the midst of all your problems,
Your heart finds a quiet spot,
Where nothing really is painful
And life will go on or not.
Some may consider this praying
But prayer asks for answers to need;
Serenity is merely accepting
The outcome to problems that breed.
In our everyday lives in numerous ways,
We cannot understand or control,
Having faith in God's ultimate goodness
Keep our minds and our spirits whole.
