That Day

When I arise to meet my King
on that grand eternal day,
my cares will all be left behind,
all troubles passed away.

My heart will be filled with total joy,
my life on earth all done;
I pray that I have pleased my Lord,
and at least one crown have won.

I'll place it at my Savior's feet,
with awe and great appreciation,
for all He suffered on my behalf,
with this anticipation

That throughout all eternity
we will be united,
as Lord and greatful servant,
by this price that He provided.

The mighty God upon His throne,
worthy of all love and adoration,
for me to honor evermore
throughout eternities duration.
