That's Why I Love Him

When Jesus came to my house to live inside of me,
everything started changing I could plainly see.
The things I use to do and the way that I would act,
are not still a part of me, that is a true fact.

I can't help but notice all the choices I now make.
I want to please the Savior who was willing to die for my sake.
Oh I really love Him for what He's done for me.
There is no way I could repay Him for all He did was for free.

Now I want to please Him with every act and deed.
He'll be there to help me and supply my every need.
Life is so much different than it was before.
Jesus gives me peace and comfort and oh so much more.

I wish I would have known Him much earlier in my years.
It means so much for Him to vanish all of my fears.
When problems arise that I can't handle, I just go to Him in prayer,
and rest assured that He was with me there.

Faith is what pleases Him when we kneel to pray.
We won't get an answer any other way.
Without faith it is impossible to please Him as we go to Him in Prayer.
When we use our faith and trust in Him He will always meet us there.

That's why I love Him and honor His dear name.
He never changes, He's always the same.
He's so awesome in His power, and precious is His Word.
The Bible tells us about Jesus, the sweetest story I've ever heard.
