The Living Sacrifice

There's an altar up in heaven, where we will sacrifice our lives...
We must give everything we are to Jesus, and there our spirit will survive.


God wants our sincere promise, He wants us committed and true...
He yearns for our companionship: That's what He created us to do.


We must look beyond the dangers of this world, And see all that lies in store...
As we leave all temptations behind, and knock on heaven's door!


The sins of our forefathers, are rooted in decadent minds...
We may not know we're sinning, until our hearts with Christ entwine!


Lust and greed are everywhere, we're bound by satanic lies...
All that's wrong and wicked, seem to be the answer to our cries!


But our Holy Father has another plan, when we give everything we are to Him...
Our transformation has already begun, and together we'll sing a joyous hymn!


As we bask in His Son-shine, with our hearts and minds at peace...
And we thank and praise our Creater, our joy can only increase!


Give your bodies to God, A living sacrifice!...
Placed on the altar of His love, there's no death, but Everlasting Life!
