White Coats and LollipopsTo all the Nurses and Doctors who took care of me! They give so much to everyone, moreThan most people have to give. They devote their lives to serve us, So that all of us can live. They’re the most unselfish ones, That God put on this earth. They live in the world of life and death, Not much time for mirth. The nurses are sweet like lollipops, And in the colors that they wear. I feel at peace, so safe and sound When I am in their care. They offer so much kindness and They’re as patient as can be. Oh, how I love and admire them For taking care of me. White coats and lollipops are all That I can see. When I am scared and frightened, And they try to comfort me. Hats off to all the White Coats And the Lollipops, You’re the greatest on this earth, And the cream of all the crops. For without you giving as you do We never would survive. And I will thank you ‘til the end of time, Or at least while I’m alive.
