Who's In Charge

Who made this earth, the sun, the stars, the moon?
Who made the hills and valleys and flowers bloom?
Who made a man and then his mate?
Who made it all -- the small, the great?
          God did.

Who cares for each and everyone?
Who prays for every mother's son?
Who wants the best for each of us?
Who even knows how much we trust?
          God does.

Who will answer when we pray?
Who will care when we go astray?
Who will help in time of need?
Who will be your friend, indeed?
          God will.

Who sent Jesus down to earth?
Who gave us our second birth?
Who said we must trust His Son?
Who rejoiced for each new one?
          God did.

Who's in charge of all he made?
Who's all knowing, who leads the parade?
Who gave to us his Holy Word?
Who's in charge, I'm very sure?
          God is.

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not: for I am with thee: be not dismayed;
for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea I will help thee;
yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
