Way To Go Buffalo
"The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They also set another NFL record during this time period. They lost everyone of those games. I remember that because of a picture that is burned in my mind, and it will not fade away. The picture is of at least 200 African children. They are all grouped up to get into a photo. Behind them are cardboard and cloth homes, and that's about it. I cannot even recall seeing a tree. But, if you were doing advertising for how big children can smile; you just found your commercial. Every single child was wearing the same shirt: 1994 SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS: THE BUFFALO BILLS The children had no idea who the Buffalo Bills were. They had no idea what the Super Bowl was, let alone knowing that the Bills had lost the game. Here is what they did know: It was unexpected, it covered them, it protected them, and it was a gift. It only added to their feeling of contentment.
~ Tom Rogers ~ "Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength. Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty."
