Have you stood out in the moonlight,
gazing at the stars above?
Has a soft breeze seem to whisper,
I surround you with my love?
You need never fear the darkness
for you bear his light within,
like a flame forever burning
since you gave your heart to him.
To God be the glory,
open up your heart and see.
There will be no tears in heaven,
his sacrifice has you free.
In the sunlight he will greet you
and bring glory to your day.
Through every trial, he will lead you
so you ll never lose your way.
God will make this journey with you,
being ever at your side.
He will be your Lord and Savior,
Father, Son and Spirit Guide.
The Lord will light your life with laughter.
He will dry up all your tears.
He will share life s heavy burdens
and relieve you of your fears.
And your life will be a blessing;
a testament for all to see.
He is faithful in his promise:
a crown of stars eternally.
